Extremely profitable and well-recognized multi-disciplined Civil Engineering / Land Planning / Land Surveying firm is seeking a Civil Drafter experienced with CAD Drafting for land development projects - for residential, commercial and some industrial projects.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Civil Engineering drafting to advance in their career. This firm has a strong 30 year history and has unlimited opportunities for the right candidate. This position will soon lead to advancement in Civil Engineering Design / Civil Project Engineer.

This is NOT a contract position. It is a direct hire position.


Description:


This position is for Civil Drafting with knowledge of CAD tools. Qualified candidates should have around 1-3 years of experience in the civil engineering industry. Job duties include the preparation and drafting of land development projects. Drafting on subdivisions (residential, industrial and commercial), site grading plans, drainage plans, street improvement plans, sewer plans, and storm drain plans. The Civil Drafter will be working closely with the Project Managers and team of designers on these projects.

This position offers many opportunities to advance with the firm. A training program is provided for qualified candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level engineer / drafter to progress to a Project Engineer or Designer role with a stable firm.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

- 1 to 3 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry

- Prior experience with Civil Drafting
- Knowledge of CAD tools (either AutoCAD, LDD or Microstation)

- B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus
- EIT certification is also a plus
