CIVIL DEPARTMENT MANAGER -- # 102058Irvine, CAA major Civil Engineering/Architectural firm in Irvine is seeking a Senior level Development Manager for Land Development projects – mainly large scale commercial.This firm is multi disciplined in Civil Engineering, Land Development, Architectural, Transportation, and Electrical Engineering.
The firm is extremely profitable and has a backlog of projects. They have a strong 30 year history and offer excellent compensation/benefits with a yearly bonus program.
DESCRIPTION
Qualified candidates should have experience directing and managing a team of Project Managers and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties would include the management of these large-scale commercial development projects as well as managing the individual project managers. Knowledge of land development commercial projects is key to this position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sr. Project / Department Manager to work in a fast paced, productive environment. Will be working closely with Principals on major projects and project bidding as well as business development.
Must be knowledgeable with: Site investigation reports, zoning, entitlements process, and the principals of Civil Engineering. REQUIREMENTS


10+ yrs experience in Project Management / Department Management
Experience with Commercial projects
P.E. license required
Knowledge of Landscape Architecture is a plusMust possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Must be able to efficiently manage teams of Project Managers on Civil Land Development Projects.
