Chief Estimator

Prepare complete estimates for assigned project(s) either directly or through subordinate personnel
Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontractors, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and manhour figures. Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to particular bid/project as assigned. Interface with management and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility. Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. Follow awarded contact as assigned – may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring materials, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have exp. estimating OG/UG Distribution Systems. Must have exp. estimating transmissions system.
Able to manage a engineering dept. of several estimator.
Must be willing to bid from prints as well as going to field and over look a job to bid to insure every thing is consider for complete job .
Willing to meet with clients and attend bid meeting ect.
