CMT Laboratory Manager

Purpose: An Engineering/Construction company that provides comprehensive construction management through multilingual construction project managers, superintendents, and field engineers. Depending upon the services required by the client, the construction and management teams provide program review and evaluation, value engineering, scheduling, cost estimating, cost control, and program management.

Must be willing to work overseas in Afghan.

Laboratory Manager Responsibilities:

Project management, including invoicing and collection of fees;
Develops/maintains client relations/markets laboratory services;
Supervises laboratory staff;
Schedules laboratory work;
Reads and understands project plans and specifications;
Performs laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials;
Produces computer-based laboratory reports;
Manages nuclear gauge calibration;
Maintains AASHTO laboratory accreditation:
Performs/schedules equipment calibration;
Updates Quality Manual;

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSING:

Certified (or certifiable) to ACI Level II or NICET Level III. Must possess any combination of the following:

ACI Field Testing Certification
ACI Strength Testing Tech Certification
ACI Aggregate Testing Certification
ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Tech Certification

Must be able to satisfactorily maintain construction materials testing laboratory to CMEC standards and practices.
