Job Summary for the Business Solutions Analyst:
The Business Solutions Analyst - Construction & Design will assist the Dir, Business Solutions with analyses, reports, and change management with the end goal of making process improvements throughout the Construction & Design department.
Job Duties of the Design Manager include the following:
Providing guidance and assisting on solutions to process issues
Creating test plans and procedures for upgrades that are in compliance with internal and external audit standards
Defining user requirements, converting to technical specifications and writing functional design and documentation
Developing, testing and deploying custom reports to end users
Assisting in the designing, testing and implementing of new business process improvements ranging from procedural changes to technological solutions
Training new users on the use of Constructware
Working in conjunction with external vendors on the resolution of system issues
Providing feedback and recommendations to management with regard to system issues and supporting activities
Aid in facilitating best practice sharing across project teams
Assisting in the development of metrics and collecting feedback to ensure that the overall goal is being reached through business process improvements
Resolving exception and error reporting issues in systems that support Construction & Design processes
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualifications include the following:
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor"&tm;s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience; GGP experience is preferred.
Analytic, statistics and reporting skills as well as data mining proficiency are required. Proficiency with Constructware or other construction management software applications is preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
