AutoCAD & Solid WorksDrafter

This description is for a temporary Designer/Drafter position. This position is short-term, and will be filled for less than 60 days. The Designer/Drafter is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation of parts and assemblies for new and existing controller product lines. This includes but is not limited to an in depth understanding of part drawings, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials, Engineering Change Orders, etc. This position will work with Engineering and Document Control create and/or modify drawings. All drawings are done in AutoCad.
More specific responsibilities include:"Proficiency in design dimensioning and tolerancing."High energy and an enthusiastic attitude, desire for continued learning, and a willingness to take on difficult challenges in a variety of technical disciplines."Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels and functions in the organization."Prior experience with manufacturing of electronic assemblies.


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with a team of people under pressure in a fast paced environment. 2 years experience with AutoCAD. Experience with Solidworks.DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED: BS degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience with irrigation products / industry. Bilingual, Spanish and English.
