AutoCAD Drafter - Land Development

Purpose: A Civil Engineering firm in San Jose is looking for a Civil Land Development Technician / Drafter.

Applicant should have 1+ years working with AutoCAD. Should be familiar with land development (grading, drainage etc). Good attitude and willingness to learn a must.

Complete Knowledge of Auto CAD is a paramount requirement and experience with LDD is preferred.

Responsibilities include assisting engineers with drafting for a variety of civil engineering projects in the land development field such as subdivision layouts, construction drawings, preliminary plot layouts, and infrastructure details.

Drafting details will include redlines, as-builts, survey drafting, plan and profiles, grading, and utility layout (water, sewer, storm drain), and roadways.

Candidates will have great opportunity to grow into a design level position if desired.Classification:Full-TimeCompensation:
