Structural Estimator
Provide accurate quantity surveys of materials and labor for all CSI Trade categories, from conceptual through working drawings, during preconstruction and construction phases of the project with a specialization in specialization in architectural estimating.

Project: Echelon Resort - Boyd Gaming
Tishman is serving Boyd Gaming as Construction Manager on the multi-billion dollar mixed-use resort complex on a 63-acre site on the Las Vegas Strip. The project scope includes the following components: casino gaming, more than 350,000 square feet of retail, dining, nightlife and cultural space; 1,000,000 square feet of meeting and convention space; four distinctive hotels (Echelon Resort, Shangri-La Hotel, Delano Hotel, and Mondrian Hotel) featuring 5,300 guest rooms and suites; and covered parking for 8,000 cars as well as site infrastructure and roadways.

Daily Duties
Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for various project types from the concept design stage to the working document stage.
Obtain all necessary information form the consultants to complete the estimate.
Verify unit cost pricing for each trade through historical data or vendor contract.
Check local markets for manpower and material availabilities. Review, quantify and price cost savings/value engineering opportunities. Analyze and compare bids with projected budget costs. Continually checking the work product for accuracy and completeness.

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Training on Tishman’s Estimating computer system and proficient knowledge of PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel. Ability to communicate with all participants involved in the estimating process. Must be a team player. Must be able to work well under constant pressure of deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet schedules. Creative thinking is required to visualize all related trade items especially for conceptual estimating with a minimum of documentation. Must be able to present and describe your work to your supervisors, and other personnel from within and outside the company.

Additional Requirements Minimum of three years of estimating experience including quantity survey take-off experience to provide proficiency in take-off and familiarization with standard construction details and drawings. Completed engineering, architecture, and/or construction management course work.
