Architectural Draftsperson

Generate AutoCAD-like(Chief Architect) drawings for residential remodel/additions used for building and permit process in a timely and accurate manner. Work with homeowner and owner to design upscale additions and remodels using general knowledge of codes. Field verify all measurements. Follow thru the permit process. Update website on monthly basis. Work as a team with in-house construction crew and support staff.
REQUIREMENTS
*Ability to develop software files for remodeling projects; maintain complete, readily accessible files and records; establish working relationships with inspectors and engineers.
*Ability to read and interpret residential construction drawings and surveys; prepare accurate detailed drawings based on verifying information in the field.
*General knowledge of building codes
*Knowledge of computers and Word and Excel.
*Communication skills--effective oral and written skills including correct usage of business English, grammar and punctuation.
*Organization skills--ability to arrange information and files in a useful manner. Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
