Compensation commensurate with Experience

Assist the Director of Design & Construction in supporting the growth of the Company through the creation of new bookstores and the renovation/expansion of existing bookstore
facilities managed and operated by the Company throughout the country.

- Develop capital budgets and coordinate construction projects with the Company’s team of project managers, designers, vendors, and contractors, on time and under budget
- Serve as Company’s liaison with college client’s business and facilities representatives from project start to completion
- Coordinate the design/marketing process in support of the Company’s creation of new business opportunities on university and college campuses
- Identify and perform “special projects” tasks for the Director of Design & Construction, including the mentoring of new personnel in his Department
- Employ the highest level of communications skills to coordinate design and management issues with all levels of management within the Company and with college clients
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the Company, the architecture profession and the building industry
- Travel required. (May be based in New Jersey, New York or Connecticut)

Qualifications:

Candidate for Position No. 1:

Degree in Architecture and minimum 7 years experience in architecture and/or construction management of retail projects.

Campus planning, facilities background, independent/entrepreneurial work ethic and experience in presentations or sales a plus.

Qualifications:

Candidate for Position No. 2:

Degree in Architecture or related field (such as interior design or construction management)
and minimum 3 years experience in architecture and/or construction management.
