Position: Adult Work Crew LeaderDepartment: Polk County General Services
Status: Temporary
Schedule: Weekends / Day Shift
Salary:$9.00 hourlyApplication Deadline:Open until sufficient applications receivedDuties: Provides supervision to community service work crews and participates in maintenance, construction, and repair of park areas and facilities; organizes and schedules projects; maintains records and equipment. Provides transportation to and from job site for crews, supplies, and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:Two years experience in maintenance or construction or corrections; corrections supervision preferred; or two years of education in corrections, behavioral science, or criminal justice; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Qualifications:
Passing a criminal background check in accordance with law ORS 181.533 et seq. may be a requirement for employment in this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license and automobile insurance, and have access to and use of a personal automobile as a condition of employment.
