HCC is seeking to fill non-credit adjunct positions for Fall – Winter 2006 in energy efficiency building systems. This 16 hour course is grant funded. Two day energy application and efficiency course (16 hours) comprised of Lighting/Electrical (4 hours), Cooling/Ventilation/Heating (4 hours), Controls (4hours), Alternative energy technologies (4 hours). This course will initially target an audience of building managers and operators. Seeking up to four (4) professionals with expertise in one or more of the areas defined above to work as a team to modify existing curriculum and to instruct one or more of the 4 hour sessions listed above. Individuals applying should have 3-5 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the above topics. Additional experience in energy management or design with emphasis on current and developing technology is desirable. Prior teaching experience preferred.
