Matching (purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices), batching (invoices), coding (invoices), and posting (to the GL)
Vendor contact
Schedule invoices for payment
Reconcile to the general ledger
Maintain cash requirements schedules and accounts payable aging analysisPerform general ledger posting and monthly/year-end reconciliation
Prepare accrualsWorking knowledge of the following accounting applications helpful: Excel, JD Edwards, and/or Timberline REQUIREMENTS
Accounts Payable position in a fast-paced general contracting environment seeking candidates with at least three years of experience with AP functions and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Individuals need solid communication, organizational and people skills. ERP systems knowledge is a plus. A high school diploma is required; college degree in accounting or related area is preferred.
