Architect Wichita Public Schools, Facilities Division, is seeking a supervisor for Architectural Services, Design & Construction Department. The Architectural Services position Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision of contracted capital
improvement projects for Wichita School district buildings and grounds.
Duties include over-seeing a staff of architectural technicians to provide architectural and construction supervision services for the District as
required; supervising contracted architects and engineers on selected projects; providing sealed drawings for OCI approval as needed. Must have the ability to manage personnel, budgets, and projects using Microsoft Office products, Auto-CAD, FME, Oracle and other district software currently in use. Must understand and use AIA Documents and CSI Specification format. Must be a licensed professional architect in the State of Kansas. An architectural degree from an accredited university or previous architectural experience of ten years or more is required. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and possess
supervisory and organization skills. Attendance at meetings and
