Customer Settlements Assocaite

Perform and maintain settlements-related accounting analyses and transactions; create and maintain custom and standard settlements-related reports; support Market Settlements functions through the resolution of audit variances and customer inquiries; participate in user acceptance testing; and administer a monthly invoicing process.
Perform various financial transactions and market analyses to support daily market accounting process including: Clearing account reconciliation and cash flow analyses, Analyses of market and grid operations’ impact on settlements, and, perform audit of market settlements to identify, review and reconcile observed variances.
Construct and enter manual invoice adjustment. Participate in the software-development lifecycle through user-acceptance testing of settlements-related software products. Support the billing issues resolution process by performing analyses to identify the causes of settlement anomalies and quantify associated financial impacts. Research and resolve specific Customer billing inquiries.
Educate Customer Relations staff through “lunch and learn” activities and market participants through the “Billing and Accounting Workshop”. Compile, store and retrieve management data to support emergency energy settlement, NTAC rate entry and posting, TSC rate posting and Schedule 1 rate entry and posting. Modify and/or maintain departmental documentation as directed.

REQUIREMENTS
2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Position level will be determined by multiple factors including relevance, length, depth and breadth of technical skills, experience, and communication capabilities (both oral and written).Education:
