Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Technician II
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining current and future floorplans for assigned corporate facilities. Floorplans will be in electronic format for space and office layout planning and will be updated using CAFM systems/database. Key functions will include providing drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining blueprints, maps and engineering, architectural or electrical drawings, in addition to preparing designs and estimates from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches, diagrams or schematics. The successful candidate will be relied on to remain current on all new and future facility/space planning construction technology, terms and conditions as they apply to the real estate planning and projects (facilities trends and practices) for Countrywide Financial Corporation's production divisions and subsidiaries.
Requirements:
Major coursework in Business Administration, Space Planning, Architecture, and Facilities Management Planning. CAD graduate from a technical school preferred.
2+ years of design/drawing services experience utilizing computer programs.
Experience in commercial/retail facilities and space planning.
Proficiency with state-of-the-art Computer Assisted Design/Drafting and Computer Assisted Mechanical Drawing software.
Knowledge of floorplan database software.
Working knowledge of the process of engineering design, building specifications, BOMA standards, engineering drafting, and revision levels.
Comprehensive understanding of full blue print drawings (CDs) required.
