Responsibilities:

50% strategic - Planning – involves interface with Clinical Leaders, Project Leaders and Content Owners.
50% tactical - Developing materials and delivering the tactical components of the Communication plan.

•Refine, update and operationalize the current internal strategic and tactical Communication strategy and plan.
•Identify Communication gaps and identify appropriate Communication medians, vehicles, and targeted audiences.
•Lead a global Communications network and have frequent contact with European colleagues.

Someone with “global” experience – with a large, international company – as there will be contact with corporate employees in Europe.

Hours: 37.5 hour work week is standard
Duration: 4-6 months

•Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications
•Minimum 10 yrs work experience in a Communications capacity
•Strong technical Communication qualifications in written and oral Communications as well as Communication processes - i.e: push versus pull Communications.
•The business acumen to be able to assess the Communication needs of the organization opposite of current internal strategic and tactical Communication strategies, course correct where necessary and successfully implement necessary changes within a global department.
•A demonstrated successful track record of assessing strategies and audiences and delivering Communication solutions that work and are "tangible" and "measurable"
•Global working experience – an appreciation for cultural differences and their impact on Communications across a global department.
•A demonstrated successful track record of assessing strategies and audiences and delivering Communication solutions that work and are "tangible" and "measurable".
