Assistant Manager
Standard Parking is a long standing Chicago-based, publicly traded (NASDAQ) company which provides parking and transportation management services for real estate firms, various municipalities as well as hospitals and universities. Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly through a series of acquisitions to the point where it now manages approximately 2,000 locations in North America and employs roughly 12,000 employees.
We provide on-site management services at multi-level and surface parking facilities for all major markets of the parking industry. We manage parking facilities containing more than one million parking spaces in hundreds of cities across the United States and Canada.
Our diversified client base includes some of the nation's largest private and public owners, managers and developers of major office buildings, residential properties, commercial properties, shopping centers and other retail properties, sports and special event complexes, hotels, and hospitals and medical centers. In the airport market, we manage parking-related and shuttle bus operations serving airports throughout the United States.
We also provide an array of related ancillary services to our clients. They include, for example, valet parking services that we provide at urban and airport locations, as well as on-street parking enforcement and meter collection services that we provide for municipal clients.
We currently are seeking candidates for our Assistant Manager opening in Cincinnati. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.
Process revenue data into accounting system on a daily basis and complete revenue entries within reporting deadlines.
Preparing accounts payables within accounting system, as well as handle vendor inquires and associated AP related research.
Maintain accounts receivable customer billing databases, account inquiries, and conduct associated AR related research.
Assist with preparing monthly financial statements, supplemental reports, and schedules as needed for management and the client.
Assist the Facility Manager on day to day operations and other duties as assigned.
Audit daily cashier reports to ensure accuracy, prepare and complete daily revenue reporting.
Prepare, review, process and make daily credit card and bank deposits.
Supervise special event staff and revenue collections during events.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to exercise good human relations and customer service skills working with customers, clients, and management staff.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and AS400 operating systems.
Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills.
Must be able to work weekends and nights during special event (baseball, Football, etc.).
BA/BS in Accounting preferred with two years accounting experience.
Must be able to meet all deadlines regarding revenue entry, financial monthly closings, Parker billings, etc.
