Job Description
Accenture's Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
The Ancillary Applications Business Analyst will:
•Operate as a subject matter expert and perform key analysis, testing, and administrative tasks to support operations, maintenance, and development of systems.
•Regularly work with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, to test systems, and to obtain required sign-offs.
•Assist in project management, requirements management, and test management as assigned for larger projects.
•Accountable for key deliverables and leading small projects. Coaches less experienced employees.
•Gather functional business requirements from stakeholders and system users, and produce documentation required for sign-off. May coordinate large requirements gathering effort with guidance from team leaders. Examples of requirements documentation include process flows, use cases, user-interface designs, report mock-ups, functional requirements listing. Maintain requirements in test management system.
•Develop working knowledge of multiple interrelated business functions and systems necessary to understand cross-function / cross-system impacts.
•Document work as defined by documentation standards. Utilize documentation management system to maintain documentation. Maintain service request, risk, and issue documentation in project management system.
•Escalate issues and seek advice when faced with issues/problems outside normal scope of job including escalating changes in scope or work effort that could result in budgetary overrun or missing delivery due dates.
•May prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards.
•Adhere to applicable process standards to maintain CMMI Level 4 certification.
•Assist in creating test plan. Create and document test cases in test management system ensuring that cases exist to test all functional requirements.
•May coordinate large testing effort with guidance from team leaders. Execute test cases during product testing and validate test results. Manage resolution of defects. Utilize test management system to log test results and notify developers of defects. Coordinate client activities during user testing. Conduct training for testers.

REQUIREMENTS
•2 years experience as a business analyst with specific experience in analysis and testing for application maintenance/development
•2 years experience in documentation
•2 years experience in customer service/client interaction
•1 year experience with project management
•4 year college degree, or additional 4 years of progressive experience in a business analysis role
Nice to Have:
•Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care and/or Health Plan Managed Care experience.
•Knowledge of application development lifecycles
•Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development (Use case development)
•Experience with Web Application development projects
