Wholesale Micro and Imported Beer Sales Professional

Cavalier Distributing, Incorporated in Indiana is seeking a Wholesale Micro and Imported Beer Salesperson for Southern third of Indiana. Ideal candidate will be located in Bloomington, Columbus, New Albany or Madison areas. We are looking for knowledgeable sales professionals who are passionate about our products.

Cavalier distributes over 400 different micro brewed and imported beers from over 90 different breweries throughout the USA and the world. We also distribute premium sake and cider as well as gourmet soda. We have rapidly become the primer Specialty Beer Distributor in Indiana. Our products are high end and we are always adding new and exciting beers, importers and breweries to our portfolio. This growing category of the beverage industry is a fantastic sales opportunity. Our territory includes the State of Indiana and we distribute to a variety of retailers. We have a strong reputation in the industry as being customer service oriented, having the ability to deliver product, and being a great company to work with. We value our clients and strive to satisfy them by delivering great products and being easy to work with.

A successful sales person in this industry will be highly motivated and a quick learner. One must be eager to service existing accounts and developing new accounts is a must. Knowledge about beer and learning about our products is essential to your success. You must be willing to do independent research to expand your industry and product knowledge; however, we will assist you in this endeavor. You must be vigilant about taking orders timely and helping us to maintain an efficient delivery schedule. You will conduct tastings and will promote our beers at various events. The face of the salesperson is the face of our company so you must be professional and friendly. You must be able to work with a variety of personality types. Time management is essential as is reliable transportation. We are a small organization and so we need a team player who is willing to do whatever we need to get the job done, within the existing laws governing the state of Indiana.

This is a terrific opportunity in a growing company. The compensation is based upon results. Computer knowledge is essential. Applicants must be proficient with Excel and Word and Quick Books knowledge is a plus as well as previous sales experience.
