VOIP Engineer needed.
Job Description: MUST BE EXPERIENCE WITH CISCO VOIP TO BE CONSIDERED
In this position, you will work closely with various business units to develop a secure high end and fully functional Cisco VoIP enterprise solution. You will be handling multiple simultaneous sales, design and installation project as well as responsible for developing the overall voice strategy, design, upgrades, deployment, retirement and troubleshooting of components that make up clients Infrastructure. Areas of responsibility will include the design, installation and configuration Converged networks, Cisco Call Manager in a Clustered Solution (current versions); Cisco Unity Voice Mail / Unified Messaging design and configuration; Cisco IPCC design and configuration; and the design and configuration of client security network architecture in a Cisco Environment desirable.
Qualifications:
-- a minimum 2 years of experience using Cisco Call Manger, Unity Voice Mail, and Routers/Voice Gateways. Cisco Certification (CIPT & CCNP) is required, a CCIE is a plus.
--Candidate MUST also have EXCELLENT oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, sales people, vendors and peers. This is ESSENTIAL to the position.
--Experience designing and implementing converged networks which should include the following: IP, ATM, Frame Relay, Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and Wireless-based technology.
--Ability to design enterprise network routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP and static routes.
--Strong ability to troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues in the LAN and WAN networks.
--Knowledge of Quality of Service, IPSec, Multicast and load balancing techniques are also essential.
--Must enjoy and be willing to learn new technologies. Candidates will possess extensive knowledge of Cisco Enterprise class switches, routers, WAPs and firewalls; the ability to manage multiple projects within the established scope, budget and timeline; complex problem solving abilities with experience in performing root cause analysis; hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, VLAN implementation, trunking and inter-VLAN routing; and extensive knowledge of network security management and authentication.
