Position Summary

Excellent opportunity! Elan Financial Services, the industry leader in credit union agent credit card programs seeks a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join its organization as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. The ideal candidate will oversee the development of short and long-term strategic goals in order to meet program objectives and implementation of strategic plans based on research in order to present ideas to the management team. Successful candidate will partner with the sales team to guide credit union sales and achieve growth objectives through acquisition and servicing of credit card portfolios. Must be able to work collaboratively with sales support to ensure appropriate sales, merchandising and administrative tools are utilized to effectively promote the organizations position in the marketplace.

Area Profile

Minneapolis and St. Paul are together known as the “Twin Cities”. Both built along the Mississippi River, Minneapolis is the largest city in the state, and St. Paul is the second largest and also the capital of Minnesota. The Twin Cities area is considered the capital for the arts in the upper midwest and has more theatre seats per capita than in any other American city, including New York City. Compensation

A competitive package consisting of base salary and benefits will be structured to meet the needs of the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis coupled with solid leadership qualities and interpersonal skills a must. Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a progressive financial institution required, MBA preferred.
