This Senior Manager role will lead the acqusition function within Citi Cards Youth Markets. To that end, the incumbent will define the overall acquisiton strategy for the business - working with multiple constituents inside and outside the Cards organization in addition to external vendors to size and scope opportunity, define targeting, establish best in class procedures and gain consensus among senior management. The position's responsibilities will span market evaluation, relationship management and program management. This individual will be responsible for the development of program objectives/goals and working with the CFO, Risk and Decision Management teams to ensure that all business opportunities are fully evaluated from a P&L and business contribution perspective. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals. REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years experience in marketing within financial services with a specific focus on managing complex multi-business line initiatives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in managing multiple acquisition distribution channels, vendor relationships, contract negotiation, possess excellent persuasive communication skills and have the ability to build and maintain interdepartmental and partner relationships. Demonstrated success in managing complex initiatives including the ability to interface with internal and external partners to ensure that the group's vision is shared and supported across the organization. Skilled in advocating change and managing complex initiatives through a matrix organization. Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
