Job Category: Global Funds Transfer/Vice President, Sales Western DivisionGeneral Responsibilities: Lead, plan and direct all sales strategies and tactics of assigned Sales Division sales force to attain targeted sales revenue, volume and profitability objectives. Contribute to the growth & development of all products through the identification, development, negotiation and closing of contractual agreements with prospective business partners. Utilize sales strategies that embrace our company purpose. Enhance and expand our competitive position by inspiring and building solutions for improvement in sales processes.Working with Sales Directors, structure agreements, both pricing and services, as appropriate to close sales. Assist in developing new pricing strategies to address needs of rapidly changing marketplace. Aggressively manage & delegate prospecting activities for assigned targets and pipeline management as it relates to the development of new client relationships and maintaining strong relationships with major accounts.Prepare sales volume and revenue forecasts and develop methods of selling to exceed sales goals including trend analysis and action plans. Develop sales incentive programs designed to maximize growth and profitability and motivate sales representative to exceed expectations.Generating accurate sales forecasts for each region and reviewing and incorporating constant feedback from the field and internal resources. Managing and monitoring a sales budget. Developing a strategic sales plan for assigned Division by segmenting, allocating and deploying resources, establishing sales targets, quotas and forecasting of expenses.Actively monitor trends and activities in the retail/finance industries to ensure overall growth of revenue. Develop with marketing and product management, segment-specific sales goals, strategies, plans, and tool/materials needed to exceed revenue, profitability and volume goals. Gathering information and forecasting competitor’s future plans and industry trends in order to build and maintain industry edge. Close interaction with the product and market penetration of current and future market segments geographically.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience Required: Demonstrates the 5 core competencies of Moneygram International: Innovative Outlook, Power of Analysis, Ability to Communicate, Leadership Capability, Ability to Drive Change (Required).
Minimum 10-years experience in field sales and field sales management with associated quota.
Demonstrated ability to create & maintain long-term, high-level business relationships.
Experience with indirect sales models; Business to Business to Consumer.
Ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team of sales professionals to achieve desired outcomes
Ability to drive process improvements that reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
Ability to identify and implement strategic and tactical initiatives that provide a sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Track record of success as a senior executive with demonstrated skills in sales and ability to drive new products to the market.
Ability to lead and partner with other areas (finance, risk, marketing, operations) in meeting client needs.
Strong communication and presentation skills along with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Experience in P&L management.
Extensive travel (40 - 60%) required.
Bachelors degree, MBA preferred.
Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
