Vice President/General Manager

Responsibilities:
Large Tour Operator located in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking an executive to fill the position of Vice President/General Manager. Responsibilities will include building and managing a team of 10 outside sales professionals and operations team members. You will have full P&L responsibilities, which include driving sales and profits as well as managing business expenses. This position offers base plus annual bonus at a 60%/40% mix.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or the equivalent.
Proven experience developing and managing a profitable sales and operations team.
Managing budgets, revenue forecasts, preparing and reviewing sales proposals, trade show coordination and participation, and managing major accounts.
Experience both within and outside the hospitality industry at a management level or higher.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, pricing, packaging, and advertising background.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
