VP of Business Development and Marketing

2.JOB SUMMARY:
Participates in strategic planning and developing and implementing policy that ensures the overall mission of Stillwater Medical Center is achieved. Represents the hospital on various hospital and community committees and other activities. Responsible to the President/CEO to direct the functions of business development and establishment of new product lines and new revenue sources for Stillwater Medical Center. Also responsible for reviewing the existing lines of business and developing mechanisms to enhance revenue in those areas. Responsible for defining product lines and marketing strategies for the different services at Stillwater Medical Center. Responsible for medical staff development and physician recruiting. Accountable for administrative direction in the departments of Cimarron Medical Services (DME), Geriat-ric Outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (Senior Perspectives), Outpatient Dialysis, Home Health, Consulting Physicians Clinic, Physician Practice Management Services, Central Business Office and Public Relations Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree preferred in healthcare, business administration, or related field

Designation as a Certified Health Executive (CHE) with ACHE (member) desirable

Three years experience as a senior-level manager

Strong leadership skills

Strong communication skills

Strong orientation to team work

Able to convey a positive image to the hospital, family, and community

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to the President/CEO

Works with Board of Trustees, Administration and Medical Staff in determining the hospital’s guiding principles.

Demonstrates a team approach by working cooperatively with other members of the administrative council, management, and all members of the healthcare team.

Supervises employees in the departments of Cimarron Medical Services, Geriatric Partial Hospitali-zation Program (Senior Perspectives), SMC Dialysis, Home Health, Consulting Physicians Clinic, Physician Practice Management Clinics, Central Business Office, Public Relations and Marketing Department.
