VP Sales

Our client, a consumer services company for the home, is embarking on a coast-to-coast expansion plan with support from its private equity sponsor. With a vision of becoming a $200 million company within five years, the organization needs a strategic Sales executive to recruit, develop and lead a high performance commissioned sales team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Sales is charged with creating the marketing strategy to fuel lead generation through advertising, direct mail, Internet and satisfied customers. He/She must raise the level of sales competency for in-home presentations, increase conversion rates, and ultimately drive greater revenue growth and gross profit. Three Regional Sales Managers and twenty Design Sales Professionals report to this position.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have an undergraduate degree with superior academic performance. He/She will be a high-energy executive with at least five years as the top Sales Executive of a medium to large consumer service related business; a remarkable track record of revenue growth, preferably national in scope, with in-home sales management; a strong recruiter and developer of people; and adept at using sales metrics to drive greater performance. Industry experience in residential construction, home remodeling, repair or retailer home service is a distinct advantage.
