UNDERWRITER ASSISTANT

The ATLANTA, GEORGIA Branch of Bass Underwriters, a rapidly growing insurance broker/managing general agent is currently seeking an UNDERWRITER ASSISTANT to provide administrative support for our commercial property/casualty insurance underwriting team. Bass partners with independent agents in securing excess and surplus lines of commercial property and casualty insurance.

Driven by relationships, not statistics, Bass Underwriters provides critical facilities necessary for agents to deliver quality insurance products to their clients. REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a “professional career driven” individual with two to three years related work experience ideally in an insurance environment.

The primary responsibilities of this position include review and process endorsements, data entry, assisting underwriters with quoting new and renewal business, provide exceptional customer service to agents, cultivating new agents as well as growing a book of business.

This position offers the potential of moving into a broker role for the qualified individual.

The ideal candidate will have worked with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; possess effective oral and written communication skills, have a solid customer service background, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, be able to prioritize, and be a team player.
