Technical Support Specialist

Supports the Information Technology Department with installing, administering and maintaining the infrastructure of clients, servers and networking. Installation, setup, and maintenance of workstations to include workstation hardware components, base operating systems, networking, software environments. Assist in troubleshooting workstation and environmental problems. Support server systems from an operating system and shared services perspective. Assist systems administrative team members in providing overall environment support. Make recommendations on areas of improvement. Assist internal resources to provide the best possible administrative support. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in corporative and supportive manner. Other duties as assigned.Tech Support Specialist I, N14 - Typically requires High School diploma or equivalent and 0+ years related experience. Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Basic knowledge of application software, networks, PCs LANs, and terminals.Tech Support Specialist II, N15 - Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of directly related experience. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Working knowledge of application software, networks, PCs LANs, and terminals.Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
