Technical Sales - Gulf of Mexico -New Orleans/Lafayette areas

Nalco Technical Sales Representatives make cold calls for developing new business opportunities while maintaining an existing customer base. In addition to growing business, responsibilities include working with production engineers to improve the efficiency of platform operations. The service aspect of the position includes, among other things, evaluation of operating equipment, data acquisition and monitoring, writing service reports and maintaining current operation manuals.

The candidate will be exposed to many types of industrial equipment including oil field production equipment, water separation equipment, and a wide range of piping, valves and pumps.

REQUIREMENTS


The desired candidate will have a four-year technical degree, excellent oral and written communications skills, an outgoing personality, interest in being a team player, and a desire to sell. Off shore production experience is a plus. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
