Technical Director

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, TransportationFunction: ManufacturingResponsibilities: Leadership and direction of railroad hourly employees, providing clear direction on the job they are to perform, including all appropriate documentation
Interpret and insure adherence to GE workscopes
Encourage and maintain safe work environment
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Responsible for FRA compliance, OSHA work practices, and specific local customer safety policies
Provide feedback to other GE teams for updates to workscopes and shop processes REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
BS in Engineering, HS diploma.GED plus 5 years experience in industrial operations or 5 years military leadership experience
Willingness to work various shifts various days
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
Ability to work in shop environment (for example: navigate up and down ramps and stairs, non air conditioned environment)
