Technical Consultant- Business Intelligence

The Technology Consultant TC position within Lawson has responsibility for meeting specified utilization/revenue targets, delivering a wide array of consulting services and specific recommendations surrounding Lawson and related third party technologies and tools, performing product installations and related consulting/training activities, and conducting technology-related client training classes at a Lawson regional training facility or at the client's site . The TC provides our clients with consulting expertise and best practice recommendations in many different areas, and has significant experience consulting on a variety of technologies, tools, configurations, etc. The Technology Consultant will primarily be working on remote upgrades in support of Lawson 9. Since Lawson's solutions leverage leading-edge technologies and interrelated third party products, the TC must maintain a varied and up-to-date skill set in order to effectively service our customers and generate adequate revenue for the company.Minimum Qualifications

2-4 year Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

3 years UNIX/Windows operating system experience, working with a variety of hardware configurations

1 year previous technology consulting experience

Working knowledge of relational databases and web-related technologies

Excellent time management, communication oral and written , presentation, and organizational skills

Strong working knowledge of office-related automation tools: PC, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
