Recruiter (Talent Manager)
Pro Staff, one of the largest privately owned staffing companies, currently has an opening for a Talent Manager/Recruiter. This position will support our Boston, MA Branch. The primary focus of this role is to recruit, interview, source, talent market and place qualified talent at client companies. The focus of this office supports our Office & Administration, and Light Industrial areas of expertise of Pro Staff. Core fundamentals
-Assist with building on existing and new client relationships through understanding client operations and needs, and other methods of sourcing qualified candidates.
-Source and recruit candidates to fill client needs and to develop an applicant pool; interviews and profiles candidate, conducts background and reference checks, and performs related recruiting and sourcing functions; determines the best-qualified Talent for open positions at client locations and places appropriate individuals on assignment.
-Conduct appropriate interviews and discovery to understand the client’s and talent’s expectations, objectives, and related requirements.
-Provide ongoing problem solving to clients regarding temporary work needs, Pro Staff services, employee problems/difficulties and other related areas.
-Investigate talent concerns/complaints, contacts employee relations, and follows-up appropriately.
-Solicit, receive, and process client talent requests in a timely manner.
-Clarify job skill requirements and job request timetables with the client on orders received.
-Communicate Pro Staff and client policies and procedures regarding employment, expectations, job requirements, benefits, and other employment conditions.
-Counsel the talent on continuous performance improvement, employment questions and problems, and related areas of concern; including up to termination or removal from projects.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of one-year experience with recruiting, interviewing and hiring clerical and/or industrial personnel. Proven experience with problem-solving, decision-making, and employee relations is strongly preferred. Additional experience with inside sales and outbound calling will also be preferred.
