TELEPHONE SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE II (RR) Metairie LA- LM7024

BellSouth, the Real Yellow Pages, YellowPages.com and The Berry Company, are seeking ambitious and results-oriented individuals for the inside sales positions in their Metairie Sales Division. Berry, established in 1910, is the largest independent Yellow Pages publishing agent in the US, specializing in the sales and marketing of Yellow Pages advertising and Internet products nationwide. Responsibilities:Initiates telephone calls to generate new and sustain current business customers as it pertains to Yellow Pages and Internet advertising. Meets aggressive sales quotas/objectives and posts daily sales results. Develops selling strategies prior to contacting designated market using a variety of visual and other sales aids. Determines accounts' advertising needs through basic probing interviews to tailor the appropriate advertising products and schedules. Organizes and prioritizes work to meet customer and directory deadlines scheduling demands promptly, accurately and efficiently. Prepares advertising layouts and background information as basis for recommending advertising programs to meet the needs of each business. Prepares forms and letters. Handles detailed paperwork and executes contracts for billing. Contacts delinquent accounts for payment when necessary.

Annual earnings potential ranges from $37,000 - $58,600 based on meeting and exceeding sales quotas and consists of base salary, commission and bonus. Relocation package for this position is not available. Paid training takes place in division office and in Birmingham AL. REQUIREMENTS


Minimum requirements for this position entail:

At least 1 year sales experience
Strong communication and negotiation skills
MS Word and Internet proficiency
Willingness to accept a commission based position
Experience with outbound telephone sales and/or telemarketing within the last 5 years
Experience in a call center type work environment making outbound calls with a headset
