Systems Administrator / Trainer

One of the largest health insurers is looking for a candidate to fulfill the position as the Systems Administrator/Trainer. The Systems Administrator/Trainer is responsible for training or retraining staff within the medical management department on the correct utilization of various software applications used within the Medical Management Department. The primary applications used are CarePlanner, iEXCHANGE, Case Alert, Milliman Care Source, BlueChip and Starting Point.

The selected candidate will also review extract error reports generated from applications. They will identify and correct errors, and then use the errors as a basis of developing a re-training program for specif staff members or for segments of the staff.

This position will report to the Director of Quality Improvement.* Must be currently licensed as an RN or Social Worker in state of DE.

* Must have minimum of 6 years experience in health care, including utilization and case management experience within a managed care environment.

* Must be proficient PC user in windows based program

* Must have working knowledge in CarePlanner Web, iEXCHANGE, Case Alert, Milliman CareSource, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook

* Prior teaching experience preferred

* Prior systems administration experience strongly preferred

* Must have strong communication skills

* Must have strong problem solving skills
