Strategic Account Manager (Sales)

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for implementing strategies for maintaining customer relationships and satisfaction with existing accounts. They are responsible for promoting and selling company products and services to new business prospects. Must be able to maximize revenue and generate increased sales of over $1 million per fiscal year for the assigned territory. The SAM is responsible to identify and develop new business leads. They must establish and nurture professional relationships within existing accounts to ensure service levels are maintained and revenue opportunities are maximized. In addition, the SAM must be diligent in tracking prospects and sales cycle utilizing database programs.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience. 10+ years of progressive direct solutions sales experience. Must have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned quotas. Must have sales experience in document management.

Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain high volume of contacts with positive results. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. They must have demonstrated success in account management. Must be computer literate using MS Office and contact management software. Must be able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
