We are currently seeking a Statistician to join our newly created Decision Science group located in our St Petersburg, Florida facility.

This position will report to the Head of Decision Science and will be responsible for the development of statistical models, design of optimal strategies, and company wise consulting. This is a visible position with a great potential to advance, at the same time, requiring a substantial training in statistics and optimization.

Master's or Ph.D. in statistics or related field.
Experience with SAS, SPSS or related statistical software package.
Applied experience developing predictive models using regression analysis, decision trees, or neural networks.
Applied experience in the areas of credit scoring, marketing analytics, and consumer lending.
Ability to design and implement model documentation and monitoring protocols.
Applied experience using experimental design to rapidly test and rollout value-adding changes to business strategies.
1-5 Years Risk Management experience
REQUIREMENTS
Develop predictive models to be utilized in Certegy's check and card business.
Develop statistical models for front – end decision making and back-end account management
Develop optimal strategies associated with the front – end and back-end account management decision making process
Develop and implement a model-monitoring program to ensure ongoing performance and focus redevelopment efforts.
Design new strategies for best practice.
Consult with various groups in the business (i.e. collections) in the use of decision sciences to improve the effectiveness of their risk management strategies
