Qwest Government Services, Inc. Senior Financial/Business Analyst - FN0-048 **Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. **US Citizenship required. Responsibilities: Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis. Prepares customer proposals, develops customer budget analyses, works closely with Program Management, Engineering and customers. Prepares detailed narrative to justify budget estimate. Reviews complex financial data received from managers for inclusion in proposals and prepares information for auditors. Ensures management understanding of budget issues as well as any other financial issues. Ensures compliance with internal procedures, SOX 404, GAAP and DAR/FAR regulations. Perform analyses of labor utilization. Compile Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC). Responsible for the review of contract modifications in regard to the finance implications and provide recommendations to the Contracts Department. Manages program financial execution. Develops budget estimates for complex projects. Briefs program/project budget estimates/projections, shortfalls, over-runs, funding types, etc. Responsible for administrative activities associated with engineering change proposals (ECP) updates, research, and problem-solving. Researches program requirements. Reviews and updates government accounting spreadsheets for all funds committed or obligated. Supports acquisition cycles by ensuring proper funds are in place. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience. Excellent Excel skills, knowledge of access Strong knowledge of government contracting, At least three years financial analysis experience, preferably including a thorough knowledge of DAR/FAR and other applicable regulations. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
