Sr. ERP Business Consultant - Manufacturing Specialist

This job provides internal consulting and real world experience and expertise in the field of ERP process design and implementation (Specifically Oracle) to the corporation. This position will reduce the need for external consultants while building the knowledge expertise within the organization. As we move forward with the new ERP strategy, these personnel will be highly required and charged to the Business as needed.

Principle responsibilities include creating a center of excellence, implementing and educating ERP implementations best practices across the company, and be able to be allocated to a specific project and bring management and process expertise to aid the Business and sectors in their ERP implementations.

Typical Duties: Redesign of business’s pricing processes, ECM processes, configuration data generation and design, item management, etc… Will be required to analyze current processes, and implement most cost effective and best practice process changes to accommodate the implementation of the next system. Must have excellent project management skills and negotiation skills on process design and change management.
REQUIREMENTS
Persons are required to have knowledge and experience of the following Oracle 11i modules:
•Discrete Manufacturing
•Process Manufacturing
•Flow Manufacturing
•Shop Floor Scheduling
•Warehouse Management
•Inventory Management
•Mobile
•MRO

Person should also have process knowledge related to:
•Lean Manufacturing
•Kanban Systems
•TPS Production System
•Six Sigma Techniques

Person should also have technical knowledge related to:
•Kanban Card Systems
•Tac Time and Floor Time Measuring Systems

B.S. in CS or Engineering, Preferably a MBA.

This is an extremely experienced ERP consultant who probably has worked in the consulting world and has been involved in at least 4 or more major ERP implementations and has been a workstream or team lead on at least 3 projects.
