Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Lawson has offices and affiliates serving North and South America, Europe, and Africa.Job Description:The Business Consultant position within Lawson has responsibility for meeting specified utilization/revenue targets, delivering a wide array of consulting services and specific recommendations surrounding Lawson and related third party applications, technologies and tools, performing product usage consulting/training activities, and conducting application and end user client training classes at a Lawson regional training facility or at the client's site . The BC provides clients with consulting expertise and "best practice" recommendations that are specific to their vertical. Since Lawson's solutions leverage leading-edge technologies and interrelated third party products, the BC must maintain an up-to-date skill set of Lawson current releases in order to effectively service our customers and generate adequate revenue for the company.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience
Strong analytical skills and specific or vertical knowledge
Excellent time management, communication oral and written , presentation, and organizational skills
Strong working knowledge of office-related automation tools: PC, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
Ability to perform extensive regional and/or national travel as needed minimum of 80
Business consulting experience
5 years, or equivalent knowledge/experience, of the concepts and principles of application expertise area Finance
