Sr. Analyst, Financial Analysis (Business Case Development)

MasterCard InternationalMajor Accountabilities:Enhance the quality and consistency of business case development and project portfolio management for Global Product Group. Provide subject matter expertise on profitability modeling for MasterCard and other constituents in the value chain of various product development initiatives. Reports to Business Leader of Global Product Business Case Support. Position is highly analytical / data oriented and requires advanced data manipulation skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively across product areas. Requires strong thought leadership skills. Some travel involved.
'Enhance the current level of rigor and discipline around financial business case development and review
'Develop framework for standardization of methodology while minimizing the burden of undue process
'Serve as Business Partner and provide excellence in MC and Customer profitability modeling
'Provide knowledge and expertise in a consultative capacity to all parties within Product who develop business cases on a global basis
'In select instances, provide full modeling support from structure, joint determination of assumptions, to preparation of final output
'Assist in opportunity sizing
'Work cross-product and cross-functionally (RVC, etc.) to provide portfolio management and resource alignment against all initiatives / projects'Play integral role in assessing and developing pricing and interchange'Work across Global Product Financial Projects Team and cross functionally as needed on an ad-hoc basis to support a variety of business analyses
REQUIREMENTS
Experience Required:Skills / Experience Required:'Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience (Cards / Payments industry a plus but not required)
'Excellent thought leadership skills
'Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office ' must be intermediate to advanced in Excel and proficient in PowerPoint and Word)'Experienced / Proficient with various OLAP and other MIS tools'Excellent project management skills
'Ability to turn raw data into meaningful information and present complex information in a concise professional manner for management review
'Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
