Spa Merchant

Position Statement: Reporting to the Vice President of Accessories and Gifts, this person works closely with product development, visual and inventory planning teams. This person will be responsible for developing spa and cosmetic retail product assortments by delivery. Job Responsibilities:
Knowledge of the spa and cosmetic industry and trends
Ensure Coldwater Creek quality and brand integrity
Partner with retail analyst to direct and create a comprehensive line plan to drive top-line sales
Work closely with the product development team to ensure line plan needs are met
Work closely with Visual on product presentation and building retail assortments by delivery
Work closely with Inventory Planning to assort retail stores and maximize profits JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 4 years buying experience in spa and cosmetic product development
Experience in creating strong visual presentations
Proven ability to drive sales and manage an apparel category for maximum profitability
Must be an independent thinker and have problem solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
