Software Solutions Sales Director
Job Summary
GrapeCity is seeking an experienced sales professional, to be based out of our Kirkland, WA office, offering software development services primarily focused on the hi-tech industry (software product companies) in the Pacific NorthWest. This position reports to the Director of Product Management.
Description
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for selling outsourced application services driving revenue growth opportunities through proposal and acceptance. This position will have ongoing responsibilities for developing new business relationships with targeted key companies and market sectors at the executive level.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a recent (5-10 year) history of selling software development and systems integration related services and solutions to prospects, preferably in the Pacific NorthWest.
Responsibilities
•Solid understanding of outsourced software development services
•Identify, assess, and determine feasibility of customer opportunities
•Interface with sales and engineering teams
•Negotiate NDA's and Agreements as appropriate
•Close opportunities with key targeted customers / prospects
•Manage customer relationships before, during, and after projects
•Work with Project Managers to ensure successful delivery
•Maintain and report status of sales pipeline to management
•Make cold calls to leads generated from tradeshows, etc.
Requirements
•BA/BS in a related field
•5-10 years direct sales experience in a consulting environment
•Must have front-line sales experience with direct customer contact
•Experience with offshore/nearshore delivery models a plus
•Proficient in proposal generation and presentation to customers
•Excellent communications and business relationship skills
•Must be a team player and able to work with a variety of internal and external organizational functions
•Solid history of developing and closing new business opportunities worth over $200,000.00 each
