Develops test environment software and production test programs, Works with development and manufacturing organizations, Writes and debugs software programs

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!!! The software test engineering group is looking for highly effective software test engineers with excellent test plan/test case development and hands-on execution skills in QA of web based applications software.

Additional project test assignments may include PC based application software as well as internal engineering tool validation.

Technical knowledge desired:
• Expertise in networking, Internet architecture, and Client/Server technologies including: Oracle, Apache Webserver, Java, Solaris, multiple browsers and PC based operating systems.
• Client-side testing issues, including UI, compatibility, and the interaction between HTML pages and the component technologies that make up Web applications.
• Server-side testing issues, including the interaction across servers and their components, as well as between servers and clients.
• Other testing practices, including performance, configuration and compatibility testing, database testing, Web security testing, load and stress testing, installation testing.
• Experienced using Mercury Interactive automated testing tool.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
