As a Small Business Area Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: ensuring new hire staff are transitioned into sales role quickly; achieving reveue targets; managing sales process by coaching staff to achieve goals; managing relationships with branch staff and coaching sales staff to build effective relationships; conducting presentations & training to referral sources, ie. branch staff & management; ensuring staff is properly using internal profiling tools (custOM); attending Key Partner meetings; conducting ongoing Performance Management sessions with staff which will include goal setting with staff, interim reviews, creation and execution of employee development plans, and year-end Performance Reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum two years' direct sales experience, along with proven product and sales expertise is required At least five years' experience in business banking is recommended Five plus years sales management experience Excellent customer service skills Motivation to initiate calls and referrals Strong teamwork skills Strong presentation skills Credit/lending experience a plus
