The SAVVIS Sr. Sales Commissions Analyst is part of a team responsible for administering incentive compensation plans, ensuring timely and accurate payments to the sales force as defined in their compensation plan.

Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of all aspects of the Sales incentive based compensation program.Utilize existing and develop customized software solutions to meet the calculation requirements of the compensation programs.Work collaboratively with other members of the Commissions administration team to maintain a data warehouse that can be utilized for analysis and reporting.Identify areas for improving existing processes.

Position Objectives:
Calculate and pay commissions accurately and in accordance with sales commission plansMeet monthly processing deadlines.

Essential duties:
Design and maintain incentive compensation database and applications used to calculate and report monthly commissions Participate in monthly commission processing including maintenance of sales rep reporting trees, product hierarchies, quota changes, commission calculations, statement generation/distribution, as well as analytical review of output.Effectively resolve incentive compensation disputes and other inquiries in a timely manner and articulate investigation findings to sales force.Interact with sales force and Sales Operations as well as Finance and ITPartner with Sales and IT in the design and implementation of new business processes and improve upon existing processes.Participate in the implementation of new sales plans

Required skills:
Strong analytical skillsAdvanced/Expert Access and Excel skillsExperience maintaining relational databasesAbility to meet critical business deadlinesExcellent communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentDetail-orientedCustomer focused

Desired skills:
Experience with the implementation and execution of sales commission plansExperience with business process reengineering Experience with VBA and SQL

Education or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management5 years of Professional Experience.
