Senior Product Manager

H.E. Williams

The Product Manager for the Williams brand drives all marketing activities within the Commercial/Architectural marketplace for U.S. and Canada. The Product Manager is expected to develop and implement marketing plans to meet corporate sales objectives. The Williams Product manager will be responsible for assuring that the Williams product offering and marketing support is best in class, builds brand equity and supports the Williams sales efforts.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
1. Develop a comprehensive product discovery and development planning process.
2. Research, identify, and translate market needs into product requirements.
3. Work with Sales and Product Development and Engineering to bring new product concepts to market.
4. Develop agency training materials, collateral materials and maintain Williams' web site.

5. Develop product launch plans and implement product launches to agents, distributors, architects, designers, specifiers, installers and end-users through trade shows, training, sales calls, web site, direct marketing, collateral and other means necessary to successfully launch the product.
6. Develop product positioning and recommend market pricing.
7. Once products are launched, monitor and evaluate product performance to recommend product modifications, extensions, or accessories.
8. Track, measure and communicate the performance of Williams' existing product lines. Prepare monthly summaries of product performance and recommendations for product design or product support improvements.
9. Maintain market information on competitor product activities, advances in technology, applications trends, customer requirements and any other insights to improve Williams' product line offering and marketplace performance.
10. Supervise and direct all marketing support personnel including the Marketing Coordinator, Graphics Designers and any other marketing personnel necessary to meet the annual objectives. Reports to: Director, Brand Marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
Mimimum of 5 years experience in the commercial lighting industry. Knowledge of lighting required.
