Senior Product Development Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIESYou will work with the Product Manager to create products and enhance and maintain current products. Direct rate reviews for specific lines with recommendations and supporting documentation to direct reports. Prepares filing memoranda to obtain insurance department approval. Aids in the designing and pricing of new products or rating plans. Works with functional departments such as Underwriting and Sales and Agency Management. Duties are performed at the top non-supervisory level of the Product Management Department. Works with a greater degree of independence than a Product Development Analyst and may handle more complex assignments.QUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business or related field, working knowledge of analytical tools, core business functions, underwriting policies and best practices, pricing, marketing, insurance models/contracts and financial analysis necessary. Preferred candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills, organizational and spreadsheet skills and have the ability to maintain a high degree of concentration.
