1. Directs sales activities in defined geographic area wholesaling ING Life Insurance Products.
2. Works closely with Internal Wholesaler and Sales Partnership Team and other sales staff on increasing sales in the assigned region/area and in developing and maintaining relationships.
3. Work with agents in the high end markets utilizing ING products for concepts such as Def Comp, Exec Bonus, Private Financing, Prem Financing
4. Develop and grow the existing territory by managing the relationship between ING and it's agents
5. Help in facilitating the recruiting and training of these agents on ING products and services
4. May assist marketing and product development staff in developing and launching new products.
6. May conduct sales promotions and product training meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
Who is our ideal candidate?
5+ years sales or marketing experience selling or wholesaling in the life insurance industry, or commensurate experience as internal supporting and external sales in Life Insurance in advanced markets. Strong ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely. Ability to create and deliver effective presentations, seminars and meetings to current and prospective life insurance producers. Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices. Expected to maintain knowledge of existing, new and enhanced products. Ability to identify and position the products and services producers use in financial and estate planning. Proven ability in growing a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business. Travel required, overnight travel required occasionally. Travel is expected only in the territory.
