About The Position Purpose: The Sales Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating learning that appeals to all adult learner types. Through both innovative new-hire and refresher training, the ideal candidate will inspire performance that continuously meets or exceeds client expectations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Conducts all new-hire training for assigned projects, including Corporate Foundation Skills, Consultative Selling skills, and client-specific information (product, systems, scripting, role-play, etc). • Develops low performers through monitoring, coaching, & refresher training. • Follows-up on feedback from training; identifies re-training needs. • Meets with operations management to determine needs and conduct refresher training as needed. • Maintains awareness of and communicates all information/updates to operations for assigned sales project(s). • Applies excellent platform and adult learning skills, including questioning techniques, vocal qualities, gestures, and recognizing and appealing to various styles of learning. • Participates in calibration sessions and meetings for assigned project(s). • Attends weekly department conference call to discuss Best Practices. • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. • Reports to Manager, Global SBU Training. Required Skill Sets & Experience • High school diploma, or equivalent, required. College degree is preferred. • Must have ability to travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally to internal eGS sites or external client locations. • 1-year of classroom training experience; call center training experience preferred. • Ability to involve an audience in training; demonstration of skills will be required during interview process. • Sales background preferred. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Bilingual Spanish reading and writing skills strongly preferred.
